Evaluation Question 2.
The audience can recognise my ancillary texts as linked products due to the same backgrounds, colours, and images I used across all my ancillary products.
I think my main and ancillary texts are very successful because you can see they are clearly linked together with synergy and have a clear relation with the music video. Also, I think the design of my media products are well suited to Haze's target audience.
I think my target audience will be attracted to them because Haze's target audience are young females around the ages of 16-24 from urban areas. Firstly, I think the main colour of red and pink will be deemed attractive by the female audience. Also, I think the audience will like elements of Haze's costume such as hoop earrings, bomber/leather jacket as these are items similar to what our audience would wear.
As you can see from the gif of Jess Glynne's digipak, music video, and website you can clearly see her use of synergy. For example, the pale pink background exhibits in throughout all her media products. I have done the same with my media products by using similar backgrounds. Jess Glynne's music shows her with wet hair. This again is incorporated across all her media products such as her website and digipak. I have done something similar by incorporating Haze's hoop earrings and signature red lip from the music video across my media products such as my digipak and website.

56. Digital mock-up of ancillary task 2 - Website
This is my digital mock up for my actual website. I had created this website during the beginning of the advanced portfolio work. The task was to create a website for an artist - For this I chose the grime artist Skepta. I firstly looked at genre convention for other grime artist, for example, the colour scheme which was predominately dark colours such as black, grey, blue.
Also, as the main purpose of a website is to promote the artist I had a gallery of pictures of Skepta and on the music page I had embedded videos from his latest singles. I had also created an 'About' page so Skepta's fans can get to know more about him. Finally, the last few pages I had completed were tour dates and merchandise. All of this together helps promote Skepta artist.
I am planning to use the same layout for my ancillary products. However, as our artistt Haze is a House / R&B artist and isn't a grime artist I will change elements such as the colour scheme to suit Haze's genre conventions.
55. Digital mock up of ancillary task 1- Digipak
Here is a digital mock up only my front panel. I have so far chosen the picture I am going to use and the placement. However, I think I will move the picture more towards the right as i do not like the placement of the text. I plan on making my background to a red/pink background in synergy the music. Also, I will put an overlay of blurred lights to also create a synergy with the blurred lights used in the music video. Additionally, I plan using a glow effect on the text to create the effect of light to connote a light motif which is used in the music video. Also, because the name of the album is AFRERGLOW.

54. Costumes
Costume 1
A black leather jacket
Black top
Black Jeans
Hoop earring + red lipstick
The background of most of our shots were very colourful and bright. So, decided that our costumes should be simple in terms of colour. Therefore, this costume was black in order to not clash with the background. However, our outfit still matches genre conventions, for example, in Karen Harding's Say something video she also wears a black jacket and hoop earrings. Similar outfits are featured in music videos of the same genre.
Costume 2
Costume 2 consisted of:
White off the shoulder top
White jeans
Hoop earring + red lipstick
Though this outfit does not follow genre conventions we chose this outfit specifically in order to suit out location. Our location for this outfit was the King cross tunnel which features a back-lit colourful LED wall which runs throughout the tunnel. Therefore, we chose the white outfit in order to reflect the light of the tunnel onto the outfit as this would of not of worked with a black or dark outfit.
Costume 3
Costume 3 is very similar to Costume 1 the only difference is that out artist Haze wears a black bomber jacket rather than the a black leather jacket. Again, this outfit was used to match genre conventions and was used as a contrast to the background. Also, these outfits are similar to what our target audience of 16-20 somethingsfemales would wear as these outfits are very casual and relatable. This would then thus allow our audience to connect with her target audience.
53. Photos I plan to use in my ancillary work
I have chosen these particular images because they are generally clear and well lit.

FINAL FEEDBACK (3/12/15)
Before completing the music video, we wanted one more feedback from a classmate. This final feedback allows us to see if there is any more tweaks that needed to be made before submitting the video. However, the feedback we got is all positive therefore there are no changes need to be done.
